Statement by the jury
“The project “Sounds Queer?” by Zosia Zosia Hołubowska wants to work in a sustainable, and inclusive manner, by establishing a space in the district of Brigittenau in Vienna, in order to reach out and support, but also to create a queer community in the area.
Conceptualized as a safe space, dealing with electronic music should bring interested people together. A central aspect here is an ongoing exchange, however this does not focus all too much on the exchange of technical equipment, but rather on the practice of doing something together.” (Jury)
